By our second visit to Daddy Jack’s in the lower Greenville section of Dallas, we both agreed this place was going into our regular restaurant rotation. The entrees are large, wines reasonably priced, and the quaint cozy neighborhood restaurant always seems slammed with people, even on a Wednesday night with tornadoes approaching. They have two other locations in Ft. Worth’s Sundance Square and in Southlake.
Steamed clams in lemon garlic broth
One of the specials that evening was so good, I almost licked my plate clean. Red fish with jumbo sea scallop in a saffron cream sauce.
Choice aged beef tenderloin with jumbo sea scallops, skewered and grilled with buerre rouge (red butter sauce).
